Tritan is a 18 year old Melodic Bass producer based in a small town in India. His latest single with Sky Roses is out now on Eonity!
Let’s start at the beginning then with how you first got into EDM (how’d you find the music? How’d you get into production?
It all started when I was 15 years old. I used to listen to a lot of melodic tracks from artists like Avicii, Porter Robinson, Madeon. It wasn’t anything until I saw Avicii making a track from scratch on YouTube and I just downloaded FL Studio and started making my own stuff. My family has no musical background, it’s just me trying to push myself as an Artist
How did you come to work together with Sky Roses on the track?
I saw a comment from Sky Roses on track of mine called Portal One. I checked out his SoundCloud and I really liked his voice and kind of Owl City vibes in his tracks. I added him on Facebook and we decided to make a song together and it really came along pretty well
Could you tell us more about the ins and outs of the making of the track?
It all started with me sending the drop melody and chords to him and he then sent me some nice sounding vocal chops, plucks and stuff like that. I decided to send it to Paul Skale as a demo for Eonity. Paul really liked it and he passed it to the team and almost everyone liked the track but the track felt empty as it had no vocals on the version I sent to the team. I talked to Sky Roses himself and he sang and sent me the vocals for this track, it all really sounded good together. I sent the complete track to the team and got accepted, I’m really thankful to have met a team like Eonity
And what do you do outside of music? Any interesting hobbies? School? Career plan? Stuff like that?
It’s just stuff that most of the people of my age group do. Going to school and stuff like that. My career plan is to become a good Musician and always try to deliver my best. And about hobbies, apart from school stuff I like researching a lot on stuff like Metaphysics, Psychology.
Finally, what has been your proudest moment and what are you looking to accomplish next?
My proudest moment is definitely this release. It’s kind of my first big label release and I’m so excited to hear what people think about our track. Release on NCS, Mrsuicidesheep is something I really want to accomplish. And I’m really working for it, I just hope things go well!
